Blessed Assurance!!!

Once you have accepted Jesus as Lord over your life, and given Him your whole heart…then from you, His Holy Spirit “WILL NOT” depart…know, that a lifelong process is about to start…it won’t be easy, you WILL make bad decisions, you WILL stumble, you WILL miss the mark…to walk with Jesus is not neccessarily a walk in the park.

Through it all…your bad decisions, your stumble, and even your fall…you can get back up with endurance…believing that your wrapped in God’s

BLESSED ASSURANCE

God won’t leave you…niether will He forsake you…your in His hands being made whole, being made new.

Your being made in the image of God’s only begotten Son…so in all actuallity your battle is already won.

It’s the Holy Spirit that’s leading you through…remember, patience is a virtue…so don’t give up on God, because God won’t give up on you…within you, God WILL continue that good work in which He has started to do.

No height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall seperate us from the Love ¬†of God. Don’t take my word on this…because I’m human, subject to miss…but rather read for yourself in the book of Romans chapter eight verse thirty nine…when you seek, you WILL find…and when it’s God that you seek, you’ll have peace of mind…reasurance…and,

BLESSED ASSURANCE

Which is, the knowing that you are God’s workmanship…and this knowing gives us the power to praise God, not murmur, complain and give Him a bunch of lip.

Hold your head high, knowing that you are Heaven bound…you once was lost, but you’ve been found…though that ol’ mountain, once or twice more, you still may have to go around…hold on, don’t let go…stay in faith, stand on what you know.

It’s only in God that we go from true glory, to glory, to glory…so relax while He divinely writes your story.

You can rest in the knowing that God is in control, and He is full of love, grace and mercy…even after you have missed the mark, you can go to Him on bended knee…God sent Jesus to us to set us free…and who the Son sets free, is free indeed.

This is better than full coverage insurance…this is,

BLESSED ASSURANCE!!!

Back Roads!!!

In our journey of following Christ, He often leads us into a detour. Off of the brightly lit highway where there’s fellow trvelers and activity all around, straight into the back roads of life.

The back roads is where there’s darkness, isolation and quietness. Though the back roads may seem a little scary at first, it’s a great place to be, because it’s these very conditions that awakens our faith.

See, it’s on the congested, fast pace highways of life that we are easily destracted, we lose focus, we grow weary, and our Lord know our frgile state of existance; so He does what He does best, which is divinely intervene on behalf of His children.

Our Heavenly Father sends us on a back road detour, where we must apply our bright lights, (which is the word of God). He removes us from the congested, fast pace of the highway so that we can find that place of rest and peace, that many times, we didn’t even realize we needed.

It’s then that we are able to hear that still, small voice of God clearly saying: This is the way, walk ye in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left. (Isaiah 30:21. So don’t despise the seasons in your life when God sends you down a back road detour, but rather embrace the oppertunity to sit peacefully and quietly in the presence of our Lord.

You may be suprised at how you are able to move and navigate through the traffic and congestion once back on the highway, through the insite that was given to you on that dark, quiet, isolated back road detour.

Back Roads!!!

Revelation Through Our Occupation!!!

In Febuary 2015 I will have earned my keep as a driver in the state of Michigan for “12” yrs. Here in Michigan we experience some of the worst winter weather in the world. Our weather here is very unpredictable. One minute it can be a pretty pleasant day, then the next minute it can be a major storm brewing.

In my almost “12” yrs as a driver I’ve driven through some of the most treacherous weather imaginable. Over the years I’ve learned how to make necessary adjustments in my driving to make it to my destination safely. I’ve also learned, or should I say, in the process of learning how to make these very same adjustments when driving through the storms of life, which can be just as treacherous.

The first adjustment would be to slow down so that my tires wont lose traction, and I end up ultimately losing control of the vehicle. The storms of life warrants that same first response. It is always harder to hear the voice of God when moving through life at a fast pace. We should be slow to speak in these seasons because our first natural response would be to speak on the power of the storm, instead of the power of our God.

We should also be slow to wrath, being conscious of the fact that the storm has the potential to ignite that anxiety that provokes wrath. See, in the midst of these storms it’s a natural response to allow the spirit of anxiousness to creep in, because we are in a hurry to get to that piont of destination, that place of comfort and safety.

This brings me to the next adjustment which is removing my eyes from the clock inside the vehicle so that I wont get destracted by the time, and fixing my eyes on the road in front of me. Not worrying about the extra time that it’s taking to reach my destination. I would much rather keep my wheels moving forward at a slower pace than to find myself sitting in a ditch. That would definately provoke anxiety and wrath.

Removing all distractions from our view, and fixing our eyes on, The Way, The Truth and The Life, also known as Jesus is vital in making it through the storms of life as well. Jesus Desciples were inside of a boat and saw Him walking on the water towards thier boat. The Apostle Peter asked Jesus to allow him to walk out to meet Him on the water. Well Jesus told Peter, COME, and Peter began to walk on water successfully as long as he kept his eyes fixed on Jesus, but began quickly sinking when he had taken his eyes off of Jesus and fixed them on the storm instead.(Matthew 14:24-31)

These are just a few of the revelations that God has given me through my occupation. I believe that God is speaking to His people all the time, giving insites and revelation through the occupations of His people. Jesus told the apostle Peter, before Peter became an apostle, that He would make Him a fisher of men. See Peter was a fisherman, therefore he understood that concept very well.

Jesus also used the analogy of seed planting many times troughout His ministry because thier were many farmers in that day who would fully understand this concept. I believe that our God is still giving insite and revelation through our occupations even on today. So I encourage you to listen closely for the voice of God which just may be trying to give you revelation through your occupation.

Blessings to you…

Welcome 2015!!!

The year 2014 was a very ineresting year for me…I learned some very important lessons throughout the year, with one lesson being: the victory…the victory that we recieve over our situations when we stand in faith, when we choose to wait on the Lord to loose us and set us free…faith is not neccesaritly easy… It’s not easy to believe for that in which we can’t see, that in which our situations tell us can’t be.

It’s not easy to stand…it’s not easy to stand alone in a dry and desolate land…when it feel as though we’re standing in quick-sand…it’s not easy to stand…it’s not easy to stand when out the window has been thrown all that we have planned.

It’s not easy to stand, but in 2014 I stood…I didn’t think that I had the ability to coninue standing, but God kept telling me that I could…I would…well I did, and what He gave me in return was all good.

Now 2014 is in my rear view…and 2015 has ushered in more hope for what my God will continue to do…not just for me, but if you believe, it’s for you too.

God has been preparing His People for a mighty work that has yet to be seen…and I believe that it’s time for the manifestation of that mighty work, and this is why I say;

Welcom 2015!!!
