Year “23”!!!

May 23 2015 was year “23” of my marriage anniversary, and it looks as though year “23” will be the year that we experience our biggest defeat from the enemy…

I have fought hard, and for a very long time, with no unity, no rythem, no ryme, waiting patiently for the glory of God to brightly shine…

Waiting, waiting, waiting to no avail, so I asked myself; in being a husbman, did I fail, has the love that I’ve offered become stale?

I don’t know! but I have no more stregnth to fight; I really don’t won’t to let it go,though, it seems we have torn each other down, not propelled one another to grow…

Three broken souls are a result of this mess, “23” yrs. ago I thought the attacks were just test’s, but now I can’t help but wonder if we both just settled for less than God’s best?

So here I stand, listening closely for God’s next command, praying for the stregnth to move in faithfulness and obedience to whatever it is that my God may demand…

We are to walk by faith, not by sight, and it’s this faith that has motivated me to stay and fight, fight, fight, but hope’s light has become very dim, no longer shining bright…

Despite me and what I’m going through, I know that God is still on His Throne and He is still in complete and tolal control, He is the keeper of my soul, so pleasing Him is my only goal, in-spite of who I may win, or whom I may lose, it is with my Lord that I will “ALWAYS” choose to roll..

Victory, victory, victory, it’s not always easy, but victory “WILL” be, as I pray for you and yours I ask that you also pray for mine, and me, in this very trying

Two things I learned about Mercy in Jude’s Epistle

This post is so powerful that I had you share. My hope is that you are as blessed by it as I was. LOVE, GRACE, PEACE…:)

Walter Bright

As you may know, Jude the Epistle, was written by Jude, brother of James and Jesus (Matt. 13:55; Mark 6:3. “Judas” is the same as “Jude” in Jude 1). I have written and spoken from the passage below many times, but every time I revisit, something new pops up. Take a peek:

Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.

Jude 1:21-23

Looking again at these verses, the word mercy stands out for the first time. Therefore, I want to share about two things I’ve learned about mercy in the book of Jude. First let’s define it:

Happy Mother’s Day!!!

M-otivated: A mother is motivated by her love for her children

O-utstanding: A mother is outstanding in her sacrificial demonstration of that love

T-errifying: A mother can be very terrifying, if you hurt one of her babies

H-ero: A mother is a hero, because she always makes a way

E-mpowered: A mother has an inner power, which can only be obtained through the Holy Spirit

R-ighteous: a mother strives to remain in right standing with our Lord so that she my be able to keep us wayward, backsliding, rebellious

A mother is the root to her family’s tree,

she loves selflessly,

unconditionally,

with a mother it’s always children first, then me,

see

A mother is a mother, not just to her own seed,

but a mother is a mother to those who are in need,

she’s proud to say, I’m a mother, when being a mother causes her to shed a tear, even when it makes her heart bleed

A mother is so much more than: a baby mama,

a mother protects her children, not expose them to uneccesary pain confusion and drama

A mother is there, when the air is thick, a mother is there, when the air is thin,

a mother is there to give all that she has, all that she is, so that you can win

A mother is the nurturer of God’s green Earth,

it’s through the love and guidance of a mother that man, first, finds his worth

A mother’s love is a reservoir

you’ll think that your rebellion has caused her to run empty, though it may be rough, at times tough, a mother know how to give more,

the world will, but on her child, a mother will never completely close the door

A mother is a breath of fresh air,

she’s fearless, even when in her face adversity stare,

and this, lady’s and gentlemen is why I boldly declare

To every mother under the sun, you are a queen,

from the bottom of my heart, this I mean

So put on your crown,

as you move about town

May all go your way,

is what I pray,

I love each and every one of you, and may you all have a very,

Where Is The Love?

James 2:8

Love worketh no ill to his neihbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Ephesians 5:2

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacriice to God for a sweet smelling savour.

But I say unto you. Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.

Matthew 24:12

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

John 15:13

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Galations 5:6

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availith anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Colossians 2:2

That their hearts might be comforted being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of uderstanding, to the acknowlegement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 1:3

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.

Deuteronomy 6:5

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Where Is The Love?

I can hear, with my ear the word love being tossed to and fro, this love that I can hear, so clear, is not seen though, I’ve looked high and I’ve looked low. Where is it?

Where Is The Love?

I’m talking genuine, agape, this love that’s felt and seen through what we do, not just heard in the words that we may say, when it seems to be no other, this is the love that says; together, we “CAN” make a way, but where is it?

Where Is The Love?

What I see, are hearts that are cold and emty, hearts that are bound but beleive that their free, selfish hearts, unforgiving hearts, hearts that are void of empathy, so I ask;

Where Is The Love?

Love was sent to us from the Heavens above, and this took place over 2,000 years ago, yet, on today we act as if we just don’t know, I’ve searched high, I’ve searched low, where did it go?

Where Is The Love?

I know that it’s still here because Jesus is Love, and He left a remnent before ascending into the Heavens above, but I can’t find it so I cry out;

Where Is The Love?

The word of God tells us that this world is to see “Him” through the way that we as beleivers are to love one another, then the word of God ask a question: how can we love God whom we have not seen, if we can’t love those who we do see, our sister and our brother? I ask again;

Where Is The Love?

This question is not so much for those outside of the body of Christ, because they simly don’t know, but this question is for those of us who are within, for we are supoosed to show, it was once here, but where did it go?

Where Is The Love?

Through faith in Christ I know that this genuine, selfless, agape love will reveal it’s pretty face again real soon, then this entire corupt and loveless world will begin to dance to a brand new “LOVE” tune. Until then I’ll continue crying out to my Lord above, asking;

Where Is The Love?
