There are many people on today which believe that The Word of God (The Bible) is irreverent. I on the other hand beg to differ. Psalm 34:8 tells us to taste and see that the Lord is good. I have tasted, and I have seen the goodness of our Lord revealed to me directly through scripture. Have I become a perfect doer of the Word of God? NO, but my weaknesses and inadequacies does not mean that God’s written word is ineffective, unfruitful or irreverent.
The Bible is fully alive and active, even in the midst of this crooked and perverse nation. As I look out into this world I can see Biblical principles being weakened in the hearts of so many. While, the father of lies, “which is Satin himself” has placed a supercharge on the spirit of deception. Many people are believing eternally damning, deceptive lies.
I can remember as a child reading in the word of God: “Believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and you will be saved. I read this thinking; pretty much everyone I know will be in Heaven, because back then pretty much everyone I knew believed in Jesus! Not the case on today. So many people believing a lie about the Living Word of God.
The level of wickedness in this world is rising day by day. None believers are becoming more radical and effective in delivering their Anti-Christ message.
The book of Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 states: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. Yes, our world is getting darker, but in the midst of all the darkness lies a great opportunity for those of us who do believe to shine brightly as vessels of praise, worship, faith, hope and truth.
Despite how it may seem, as believers, we win!!! In the book of Mathew 16:18 Jesus states: ” And I say unto thee. That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church: and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it”.
Isaiah 40:8 says: “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
“140) Thy word is very pure: therefore Thy servant loveth it.
141) I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.
142) Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and Thy law is the truth.
143) Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet Thy commandments are my delight.
144) The righteousness of Thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
The word of God is also:
Still Prevalent, Still Fruitful!!!
