Not My Will, Not My Way

Life never seem to happen as I see it should, never really as I’ve planned, but as long as I’m in God’s will, I can stand

The eyes of my faith are not as foggy as they once were; in my heart The Father’s only begotten Son has risen, burning away the fog, so I can walk by faith even when I can’t naturally see clear, even when the voice of the enemy is speaking loudly in my ear

My Heavenly Father is revealing to me; His way is better than mine, on the other side of every frustration or disappointment I’ve witnessed God manifest within me a spiritual peace, a inner shine

Now I’m able to wholeheartedly say:

Not My Will, Not My Way

I know, that I know, that I know; God’s not dead, and I trust every word my God has said.

I trust the fact; Father knows best, I believe, I receive, in my Father’s will is total and complete rest

So it’s in Him that I live, move and have my being, no longer moved by what my natural eyes see, but it’s through the eyes of faith that I’m now seeing

This walk of faith is by no means easy, I need the power of God’s Spirit dwelling within me, I need a spiritual ear to hear the words my Heavenly Father’s still, small voice has spoken, the word’s that He may even now say, therefore I need to daily commune and fellowship with Him, I need always to pray, then I can, for the glory set before me boldly say,

Not My Will, Not My Way
