Second Wind!!!

The vision is still “BIG” and bright…I’ve still got it in clear view, it’s still in my foresight…working diligently to get it right…and every step of the way the enemy has put up one major fight.

My Lord, as I look back I can see that it was You…that has brought me through…in my darkest hour You showed me that Your Word is true.

Father I ask that You reveal Yourself to me a-gin…I need a,

Second Wind

I have so much more to do, so much further to go…I know…that I know…that I know…You allowed the trials so that I may grow…but my Lord I have grown weary in the process though.

You have brought me waaaaay too far to leave me in this hour…Father I need strength from on high, I need that Holy Ghost power.

Lord, I ask that, unto me You send…my

Second Wind

There is still so much left undone, so much left on my plate…but no matter how tired or weak I may get, Father I’ll stand, and on Your perfect timing I’ll wait…because in Your hands lies my destiny, my fate.

Breath upon me Father, breath upon me Lord, breath new life into me…breath in me in a way that the world may see…in You my Lord lies complete restoration, total victory.

As 2015 is preparing to begin…and 2014 is preparing to end…Father, I ask that You equip us all, as Your servants, with that mighty,

Second Wind!!!

Less Impressed

I have become less impressed…
by those things that we posses…
all the things that make us feel as though we’re blessed…
those things that make us feel as though we have achieved success…
I’ve become,

Less Impressed

With the big houses with more rooms that I would ever use…
See, at times it may seem as though we’re winning, but in the end we actually loose…
there is absolutely nothing wrong with possessing things, but it’s that deceptive sense of power and security that I choose to refuse.
So with these things I’ve become,

Less Impressed

Shifting is my paradigm…
the night is far spent, meaning, we’re running out of time…
so I’m here to encourage all who will listen, it’s not in the glamorous light of this world, but in the “True Light” of eternity that we need to be willing to shine.
This is why I’m,

Less Impressed

It’s not cool for me to spend all my time, effort and energy trying to gain the world but in the process end up loosing my soul…
don’t get it twisted, I like nice things, and this is why I’m investing in a city where the gates are pearl, and the streets are gold…
man, I’m bout that life, that’s how I like to roll.

With the situations and circumstances of this life I am far less stressed…
I’ve walked into a place of peace and rest…
content in whatever state I’m in, now that to me is truly blessed…
it all started when I sought “First” the Kingdom of God, and in return, with all the “deceptive” glamor, glitter and glory of this world I’ve become,

At The End Of The Day!!!

When It’s all said and done…
When there’s nowhere to hide, nowhere to run.

When you meet your creator face to face…
There will be no more time to plead your case.

At The End Of The Day

What will those who you left behind have to say…
Poppa was a rolling stone so he couldn’t stay…
And he left no pay…
Or, he provided for me financially, physically and emotionally even though I didn’t see him every day?

Will they say: he was a man who was plenteous in goods, but he had no heart…
Will they say: he was a man that never finish what he start?

At The End Of The Day

Just what will they say…
He was a selfish man who always had to have it his way…
Or, he was a selfless man who always had time to hear what others had to say?

Will they say: he was angry and bitter…
Because he chose to drink from that poisonous cup disguised by gold and glitter?

Or, he was a man with compassion and love…
Wise as a serpent, but yet humble as a dove?

At The End Of The Day

Will they say…
He was a man that knew to pray…
And God’s perfect will he sought to obey…
Or will they say…
It was in the wicked ways of this world that he chose to play?

Though to live this life here on Earth fruitfully and effectively is important, it’s not as important what “they” say…
As it is: what He whom you will meet face to face has to say…

AT The End Of The Day

Would you like to hear: job well done…
My son?

Or, depart from me because it’s in Hell that you’re going to stay…
All because you refused to repent, accept Christ and change your way…

The End Of The Day?

The Home of The Brave, The Land of The Free!!!

United States of America, the home of the brave, the land of the free. Super power we were but that title is slipping away from us. This was never a perfect country, but it was a country that was built on Biblical principles. For the most part we were a Christian nation.
We were a nation who sought after God, a nation who reverenced God, a nation who called upon the one and only true God in times of trouble, and God was with us. More people believed in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ than not, therefore we were a blessed nation. Not a nation without problems, not without growing pains, but God’s hand was upon us and we were blessed indeed.
I’m not talking about just financial, monetary blessings, I’m talking about God’s favor and protection. It’s this favor and protection, along with the monetary blessings that has made us here in the good ol’ U.S. of A, arrogant, thinking that we have accomplished our victory’s all on our own, without God’s divine intervention.
The enemy has pulled the cover over our eyes, yes, we have been deceived. We think that with all of our wealth and prosperity that we are moving forward, but in all actuality we’re moving backward.
The moral values that we once stood strongly upon are now a thing of the past. There is very little value in the thing that we are to value most, which is human life.
In times of old, when our country faced trials and tribulations, it was that mustard seed faith in God as our higher power that delivered that sense of hope unto us. So when God is being removed, slowly but surely, out of our world view, where then does our hope come from?
I guess this is why I can clearly see the look of hopelessness on so many faces, and actions that can only manifest through a hopeless mind, heart and spirit.
The United States of America is moving further and further away from our Lord, and this is why we’re living in such perilous times, times where there truly is spiritual wickedness in high places, times when what’s right seems wrong, and whats wrong seems right to most people.
Call me old fashioned, square, out of touch; call me what you will, but my hope and faith still lie in my Almighty God and His word.
Psalm 33:12 reads as such: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance.
2 Chronicles 7:14 states: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Where Do I Go From Here!!!

My Lord here I stand…waiting to hear your voice, or maybe even a point in the right direction from your hand…listening and watching intently for your next command.

Your word tells us: do not get weary in well doing, and Lord I’ve stood strong…I’ve stood long…yet I ask, am I standing where I truly belong?

Or am I out of place…Lord I am seeking your face.

I need to know;

Where Do I Go From Here

I feel lost, in exile, far away from home…I understand, now, why you don’t want us making decisions on our own…why you want us to stick closely by your side and not roam.

Lord I know that I brought this upon me…and only you can loose me and set me free…I’m waiting Lord, sometimes not so much, then other times waiting patiently.

But Lord I must know;

Where Do I Go From Here

See, in this place there’s a whole lot of pain…if not for your unfailing love, and grace I would surely be insane…or I would have already drowned in the rain.

So… I do Know

Lord, you’re right here with me…and will continue to be…from me, you will never flee.

But Lord I just don’t know how much more I can take…I don’t know which choice to make…but I will not burn in the fiery lake.

Which is exactly where I would end up, being led by me, myself and I…all caught up in the enemy’s lie…to end up asking myself when, how and why.

So I choose to stand…waiting patiently on your command.

And though I may be a bit weary in this season, I have no doubt, I have no fear…the promises that are written in your word I hold near and dear…but Lord, I need to know;

Where Do I Go From Hear?

Faith, Boldness & Courage

Faith, boldness and courage will set us up for possisions far beyond our wildest dreams. Their are four friends of mine who has long passed over from this life into the next, but still give me inspiration and encouragement whenever I need to stir up some courage, or be reminded of how faithful our God is. My four friends names are: Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, then there’s Daniel.

These four young boys were removed from there homeland and brought into a foreign land as slaves. These young men remained faithful to our God through very harsh circumstances and conditions, and God’s mighty hand of favor rested heavily upon them, so much so, that the other men of that land were very jealous of these boy’s. These men were so jealous that they conspired to use the faithfulness of these boy’s to their God, to set them up to be killed.

See, the King saw Daniel’s Godly wisdom from the very start and he promoted Daniel, while Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego where left to work the field. Nevertheless, God’s mighty hand of favor was upon then as well. So the men of that land went to the King and deceived him into signing a law stating that every person in that land must bow down to worship a statue of the King himself for 30 day’s, or be thrown into a fiery furnace. Well these men already knew that these three boys would not bow down to worship none other than God our Father.

When these wicked men saw these boy’s not bowing to worship the statute, they ran to tell the King. Now it is what these boy’s says to the King once they’re brought before him that just exites my spirit. Just listen to this: “IF IT BE SO, OUR GOD WHOM WE SERVE IS ABLE TO DELIVER US FROM THE BURNING FIREY FURNACE, AND HE WILL DELIVER US OUT OF THINE HAND, O KING, BUT IF NOT, BE IT KNOWN UNTO THEE, O KING, THAT WE WILL NOT SERVE THY god’s, NOR WORSHIP THE GOLDEN IMAGE WHICH YOU HAVE SET UP. ” “WOW”

I don’t know about you, but that boldness and courage of speach really stirs something on the inside of me. Well these boy’s were thrown into the firery furnace, and when the King went to look inside the burning firery furnace he saw not just the three boy’s that he had ordered into the furnace, but he saw a fourth man whom he said looked like God. So he called the young boys forth out of the hot hot furnace, “which should have been burned to ashes by the way” but they came forth without even the smell of smoke on them.

Well this gave the ol King a change of heart, and this is what he said: “blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent His angle, and delivered his servants that trusted in Him, and have changed the King’ s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God”. Then the King made a law against anyone who spoke amiss against the God of these three boy’s, then, the three boy’s were promoted.

My friend Daniel’s story is very simular, but he was thrown into a lions den. You will have to go to the book of Daniel chapter 6 in the Holy Bible and read that for yourself. You will be blessed by it. You can also check out this story of Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and the firery furnace in the book of Daniel chapter 3.

I speak faith, boldness and courage over your life on today!!!

Romans 8:28

One of my favorite verses of scripture is Romans 8:28 which says;

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose “K.J.V.”

To me this is very good news. This says that it doesn’t matter what we may have to go through, how many hills we must climb, how many heart aches or how many disappointments, whatever we bring upon ourselves, and whatever satin himself throw our way, it’s “ALL” working together for our good. I can think of a few times when God made a bad situation work for my good and His glory within my life personally, but today I want to talk about a man who suffered many advercities, which ALL worked for his good, and the good of his entire family.

A boy by the name of Joseph was hated by his brothers because he was favored by their father. Joseph was eventually sold into slavery by his brothers, which lied by telling dad that Joseph was killed by wild animals. Well Joseph erned himself a position of being the right hand man, to the right hand man to the king. (Note: God was still with Joseph through the trials). Well Joseph was then accused of rapeing the wife of his boss, after rejecting her perpetual advances. This young man did many years in prison for a crime he did not commit.

Then suddenly, the king himself sent to have Joseph brought directly to hm because of a gift from God that Joseph possesed, and that he stired up. ( God’s word tell’s us that our gifts will make room for us, and set us before great men) Well, on that day brother Joseph, unexpectedly, went from the prison to being second in charge of the entire land.

For those of you who know Joseph’s story, you know that this is just a light summery of a great Romans 8:28 testimony. For those of you who don’t know brother Joseph’s story I invite you to check it out for yourself. You can find it in the word of God (The Bible)  in the book of Genesis beginning in chapter 37.

I believe that it is our attitude while going through, that determines how long we may stay in that place of darkness and brokenness, nevertheless, ALL things work together for good to them who love God, and if you love God, then YOU ARE the called according to His purpose. So if you are in a season of hardship, REST in Romans 8:28.

“Kingdom Business”

It’s not easy to be content with present conditions when God has shown you a vision of your future,

but yet, the Apostle Paul tells us that we can be content in whatever state that we’re in… “Philippians 4:11”

See, contentment in this sense does not mean that we must be satisfied in the darkness of our present condition, but rather, we don’t allow that darkness to dim the hope of the light that’s within us… “THE HOLY SPIRIT”

It is possible to allow the power of this light to burn within us to the point where it shine through us, then we are able to see God’s purpose even in that dark present condition.

It’s then that we are able to have peace in the process, on our way to that place of ultimate predestined purpose…

Brokenness is a setup!!!

Psalm 34:18 “K.J.V”

The Lord is nigh them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

We all know what a broken heart is, and what it feel like, but a contrite spirit is a spirit that’s chastened, humble, remorseful, repentant and sorrowful. Being a broken vessel does not mean that God has left us to deal with our brokenness alone, because the book of Psalm chapter 34 verse 18 tells us that our Lord is nigh them that are of a broken heart; meaning God is right there with us, watching and waiting to see if we will react according to the hurt and pain in which we feel, or if we will act in chastity, humility, remorse, repentance and sorrow…

If you haven’t experienced brokenness within your heart or your life yet, just continue to live. Brokenness is inevitable in this life, but God allows the situations that cause the brokenness, not to destroy us, but rather to keep us grounded in Him. So when brokenness comes to visit you, remember, it’s just a setup. Know that God is right there in the midst willing to lend His strength so that we are able to, not react to the pain of being broken, but rather act in chastity, humility, remorse, repentance and sorrow. It is this contrite spirit within that will move God to save us out of the pain of our brokenness

So to sum it all up; when we exercise that contrite spirit that dwells within, our brokenness is just a setup for God’s glory to be revealed.
